I'm not always this serious. I just like making things look cool, and the black and white aesthetic seemed to work well.
So perhaps, one way to get to know me would be to know what I enjoy in my down time.
Damien is an undergraduate of Nanyang Technological University's BFA in Art, Design and Media (Digital Filmmaking), an alumni of Singapore Polytechnic's Diploma in Creative Writing for TV & New Media, and a budding filmmaker in his spare time.
His various passions sprouted over different courses of his teenage life. At 13, he joined his school's Drama Club CCA. At 14, he wrote stories together with his classmates. At 15, he shot and edited his first video.
As a result, Damien now does a lot of things — directing, shooting and editing for film and video, writing and acting for the stage and the screen, playing and producing music, sketching with the pencil and the mouse, etc.
He aims to learn every single role which production has to offer to become a one-man DIY filmmaking army, and his life goal is to direct a full-length action feature film.

I have an older brother, so I've been playing video games since I was old enough to walk.
Video games are probably my favourite medium of entertainment. Heck, I wanted to be a game designer for the longest time, until I found filmmaking. But all that is beside the point.
It was hard trying to boil down what my absolute favourite films were. I haven't even really seen that many films.
I like action films, but I am very nit-picky with them. I also find myself liking a lot of sci-fi and other stuff that makes you think deep stuff. Or perhaps just pretentious bulls***.
I always find that my library is really secluded from everyone else's, but then again I susepct that on a large enough scale, all of our music tastes are a little bit weird and unique.
I find myself sticking more to artists than to genres. Some of them more than others, but some of them come in phases too.
If you know (and vibe) with any of these artists, hit me up and we can bond over how hipster we are.
